I read many posts about blogging recently. Bloggers who make goals for when new year comes. In one post one guy collected large number of bloggers who made new goals for this year. I read almost all of them. All of them made there plans for blogging for next 12 months. But the question is how realistic is there goals. I am categorizing these blogger in two category.

Realistic bloggers: Earn money realistically

These blogger make there plans realistically.
They use there head and mind to make plans for the future.
They know they should make there goals in some range. So, that they will be able to achieve them on time
These bloggers are safe bloggers.
They are afraid of taking risks.
Most often these blogger fails to achieve their goals on time too. Why?? because they setup small goals for themselves.
If you make small goals like blogging for cash, traffic for your blog, earning from blogging or affiliate earning. Then you will put less effort and time and hence less output in future. If they see lesser output they will leave blogging soon.

Unrealistic bloggers:

Big goals and dreamers, i say.
If they are noob they might not aware of how tough is to earn money online from blogging and maintaining one single blog and run it successfully.
They make big plans, Like i want 50,000 visitors in next 3 months from search engines and make alexa rank under 10,000 or earning $2,000 from blogging or making and maintain large number of blogs in short period of time.
Few of them get big success in blogging, because they made unrealistic goals. This is like dreaming to earn $2,000 per month from blogging and achieving 10% of the actual goal.
Risk taking blogger.
Need very hardwork as compared to realistic bloggers.

I am working online since last two years. I searched for almost all types of money making programs online. Still i am not mastered any. Still i tasted all of them a bit. This blog only gets few visitors every day. But still i was getting spam comments on this blog. When i started this blog. I was not getting enough comments in this blog. So, that i wrote articles on different topics and learn lot of things. For increasing comment count on this blog, i removed captcha from this blog. I was getting decent comments on this blog till i was promoting this blog on other blogs.

But recently, this blog is getting lot of spam comments from different places. This includes all types of sites which even has adult content too. And most of them has info domain. Setting info domain is so cheap these days. Because of they cost as cheap as $1 or less. I mean these spam comments are generated by automatic softwares which pings to hundreds or thousands of blogs and can get backlinks in no time. One of my wordpress blog was getting large amount spam comments. In every 5 minutes i was getting 2 spam comments. Then i installed the worpress plugin to stop spam comments.

I have no idea how to stop spam comments on blogspot. I think enabling captcha on this blog will stop spam comments for sure. I removed them for my readers convenience but its time to enable it. Let see how it works.

Who says blogspot don't attract visitors: Some people says that wordpress blogs get faster indexed and get more priority from search engines. But still if you also do the same updates like wordpress guys do. There is no reason you won't get that much traffic search engine.

Still blogspot has list of negatives. But i am suggesting blogspot for all the new bloggers who is serious about blogging. Later they can switch to Top level domain. Because blogging needs writing skills.

I got few visitors from bing in last few days. I had only two pages indexed on bing. And day before yesterday, i got 82 pages indexed on bing. So, I think SE other then Google takes time to index blogspot blogs. I noticed that i got indexed on Google within 7 minutes of posting. Even i noticed on one of my article on front page within 8 minutes.

So, you understand that, if you have monster blog then you will get indexed. with in few minutes. Monster blogs which get many post every day will surely indexed fast. SE bot regularly visits those blogs. Because they will be habitual of visiting your authority monster blog Whatever, traffic from any source is better then no traffic.

At Last I Got Bing Visitors

I am getting regular visitor from Google And Yahoo and some time aol too. But after many month today i got visitor from bing for some keyword. But that too don't represent my actual page. Description is some thing different and bing is sending visitors to my home page earn money online.

I was initially, worried a bit. Why? because bing is not sending visitors to my internal pages. But, Possibly my pages not yet indexed on Bing properly. I hope in few weeks, my internal pages also get indexed on bing.

I never saw any blogspot blog with hundreds of pages indexed on bing. Bing only index your hundred of pages, if your blog is wordpress or either you already have 500 hundred pages indexed on Google.

Nice, to see SE visitors. Bing has very less searches as compared to Google. So, nothing to bother. At least for few more year. i don't expect any major increase in searches from bing world wide.

I am using Alexa tool, Google Analytic and sitemeter for my blog to know more about my visitors. Usually what people do to know more about any website and blog. They just open alexa website and type the URL to know more about. And they get some information about traffic rank and from where visitors are coming etc. But alexa is inaccurate and only way to measure the success of any website. Whatever you can check my blog status and know how alexa is inaccurate.

Alexa shows my 94% of visitors comes from india. And show my traffic rank too. Now you can check on site meter the status of my actual visitors.

So, site meter show i get 44% visitors from india and 31% of visitors from United States And rest 25% from other countries. So, why is difference in alexa and site meter report. because i disabled my visits from all my browser when i visit my blog. I visit my blog many times a day. And some time i refresh my blog many times for checking many things and adjustment. But running blogger is piece of cake.

This report says my 93% of visitors comes from Asia, North America and Europe. As expected. For money niche blog.

I pissed of when, i earned $ 0.01 from Google adsense. I earn many times $0.01 from adsense in one of my blog. I saw many forums questions about $0.01. Peoples spend hours of time in Adsense forums and adsense revenue sharing websites.

Their are many peoples who earn living from adsense revenue sharing websites. Other hand many of them earn pennies. I am also earn some times pennies. Truly i am not happy with my adsense earning. But, i am working and learning hard.

Why you get paid $0.01 if you targeting keyword: Yes, this is the question. I targeted keyword of $10 and got paid 0.04$. What the hell. When i looked on google analaytic. I saw that was not actual keyword. I got traffic from the keyword, which has no advertisers. So, i earn whooping $0.04.

Why most peoples earn $0.01 from adsense
Because visitors coming from non-targeted keywords. Advertiser don't get any benefits from non-targeted keywords.

So, how to stop earning $0.01
I don't think earning $0.01 is waste. Because any earning is good. But next time, you should target at least $0.50 keywords. If you target certain keywords, You will definitely get un-targeted visitors too with targeted keywords. which will pay you least.

What about the social traffic.
Yes, social traffic is also pay less.

If visitors are coming from some other websites or like article websites
Suppose you add articles in ezine or article base. And if some visitors are coming from ezine. I say, these visitors are partially un-targeted. These visitors will pay you extra cash. Because they comes from search engines > Your article on websites > then your website or content. If they click ads you get partial money.

I visit regularly many websites and blogs recently i found something different on few websites.

I saw the big rectangle box which usually show ads by google and other advertising network are showing media player play button on whole 336 * 200 rectangle. I was so, curious what exactly was that. First time i thought it is part of website or some video from youtube. But when i clicked on that suddenly a flashy banner of smiles came. Than i was really worried that is it ads by google but it was tribal fusion ad. so, nothing to worry.

But i was wondering why this type ads shown by this ad network. Because it is impossible to identify as ad. when you move cursor on those ads. You see click here to activate control on your browser. when you click on ad you see some banner or video unit. nice new innovation by someone. I have to give them full credit of this.

Yesterday i installed latest Fresh opera 10 with turbo mode. Believe me it is better than previous version. This one is faster, smarter and intellegent browser. It has turbo mode for slow net connections. When i switched to turbo mode it opens webpage even faster upto 4x. But i am already at broadband so, switch off turbo mode in opera. so, that i it load better image quality.

I think those days are gone, when we are waiting IE to load full page and than suddenly appears. sometimes IE hangs and slow down system but just in case opera works fine. I am big fan of it from long time.

Opera already has great features like speed dial, New enhanced tabs, slim look fast browsing. and now in latest opera turbo fast mode with intellegent browsing.
